Kombucha Chicken
Ingredients
Whole chicken
16 oz of kombucha
Ice water
Large bowl or pot
Salt & Pepper
Olive oil
Instructions:
Fill your bowl/pot halfway with ice water.
Slowly add 16 oz of kombucha
Add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper
Stir slowly
Add your chicken
Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or more. Overnight is ideal.
Remove the chicken from the brine. Let rest for 30 minutes.
Rub the entire chicken in olive oil and salt.
Roast at 350 for 30-45 minutes. The time depends on the size of the chicken
You can also grill for about 40 minutes.
Remove and let rest for 15-20 minutes.
