Tomato Linguini
Ingredients
What you need for the salad:
Onions
Carrots
Celery
Garlic
Crushed tomatoes
Chicken Stock
Turkey bone/scraps
Salt, or to taste
Sugar, or to taste
Bay leaf
Thyme
Parsley
Peppercorns
cheesecloth sack
Pasta of your choice
Dutch oven
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 300°
In a dutch oven, add turkey scraps until fat is rendered.
Add chopped onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until translucent.
Add garlic, crushed tomatoes, and the sachet with herbs.
Cover with broth.
Bring to a boil
Put the pot in the oven. Let cook for 2 hours.
Strain if you like a less chunky sauce.
Add to your favorite pasta.
