Homemade Granola

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Walnuts

  • Pecans

  • Almonds

  • Oats

  • Craisins (optional)

  • Coconut Oil

  • 1 tbsp Butter

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar

  • Honey or Agave

  • Cinnamon

  • Ground Cloves

  • Allspice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven at 280°

  2. In a saucepan, melt 1 tbsp of butter, coconut oil.

  3. Add honey and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Whisk continuously.

  4. In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts, craisins, spices, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar.

  5. Slowly pour the melted mix from the saucepan over the nuts and oats. Mix well until all the ingredients are coated.

  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Coat with cooking spray.

  7. Evenly spread the granola on the cooking sheet.

  8. Bake for 45 minutes and mix every 15 minutes. This is key for great balance and texture.

  9. The granola should be a lovely golden brown.
