Steak & Potatoes

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Lamb shoulder steaks

  • 1 potato

  • Balsalmic vinegar

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • Mandoline

  • Cast iron or backing dish

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Whisk together.

  2. Pour the balsamic blend over the steaks and marinate overnight or at least 8 hours.

  3. For the potatoes, use a mandoline or sharp knife to slice the potato very thin.

  4. Butter the cast iron and layer the potatoes in a circular motion. one should overlap the other.

  5. When the dish is completely covered, bake or air fry for 20-30 minutes.

  6. Remove the steaks from the marinade and let dry. Heat a non-stick pan or cast iron and sear your lamb. 5-8 minutes on both sides.

  7. Serve with fried eggs for brunch.

  • A splash of OJ

  • Ginger

  • Mint

  • Vodka

Combine in a shaker with ice.
