Sauternes on Saturn
Ingredients
What you need:
1 or 2 peaches
Sauternes Wine
Brown Sugar
Butter
Cinnamon
Allspice
Instructions:
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit.
In a pan, melt butter and add brown sugar. Cook for 2 or 3 minutes.
Place the peaches in the pan, face down.
Flip the peaches. You should see a nice caramelization.
Turn the fire off and slowly pour Sauternes over the peaches. Cook for 1 minute.
Remove the peaches and let the sauce reduce. Stir for 5-10 minutes.
Add cinnamon and allspice.
Let sauce cool for a few minutes.
Top the peaches with ice cream or yogurt. Add mint for freshness.
Pour the sauce over the ice cream and peaches. Add almonds or walnuts if you wish.
