Salmon Poke Bowl
Ingredients
What you need:
1-2 pieces of Salmon
Sushi Rice
Rice Wine Vinegar
4 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp salt
1 Cucumber
1-2 Radishes
1 Green Onion
Ginger
Avocado
Sesame Seeds
Seaweed Snacks
Shrimp (optional)
Sauce for Salmon
1 cup Soy Sauce
Sesame Oil
Minced Ginger
Minced Garlic
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Poke Sauce
1/2 cup Mayo
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Miso Paste
1 tbsp Sriracha
Minced Ginger
Instructions:
Use a strainer to rinse the sushi rice until the water runs clear.
In a pot, add 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of water.
Bring to a boil. Cover and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
In a small bowl, add vinegar, sugar, and salt.
Add the vinegar mixture to the rice and mix well.
Chop the pieces of salmon into cubes.
Add soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, ginger, garlic, and ginger to a bowl.
Add the salmon to the soy sauce mixture and set aside.
(optional) Shrimp. In a small pot, add water, ginger powder, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil and turn the heat down. Add shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
For the poke sauce, mix together mayo, soy sauce, miso paste, sriracha, and ginger.
Build the bowl by adding the rice first, then salmon, shrimp, cucumbers, radishes, avocado, and ginger.
Slice the seaweed and sprinkle on top along with sesame seeds.
Drizzle poke sauce.
