Broccoli & Cheddar Rice-A-Roni

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Rice

  • Uncooked Spaghetti Noodles

  • Broccoli

  • Cheddar Cheese

  • Butter

  • Garlic

  • Broth

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Any herb seasoning

Instructions:

  1. I used short brown rice for this recipe. This rice takes about 30 minutes to make so I boiled it until it was half cooked. If you use any white rice, you can skip this step.

  2. Chop broccoli into small pieces. Cook for about 5 minutes and set aside.

  3. Break up the spaghetti into 1-inch pieces.

  4. In a medium frying pan, add butter and minced garlic.

  5. When the butter starts to bubble, add the spaghetti. It will start to brown. Keep stirring.

  6. Add broth. Cook spaghetti until done.

  7. The consistency should be a little soupy.

  8. Add rice, herbs, and seasoning.

  9. Once the rice is fully cooked, add broccoli and cheddar.

  10. Turn the heat off and stir.
