Whole Wheat Biscuits

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Wheat Flour - 2.5 cups

  • Cold Butter - 1 cup

  • Milk - 1 cup

  • Baking Powder - 4 teaspoons

  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon

  • Salt - 3/4 teaspoon

  • Honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450

  2. In a mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, sure, and salt. Mix well. You can use the stand mixer.

  3. Shredd 1/2 of butter or cut into small pieces and then add it to the flour mix.

  4. Add 1 cup of milk. If the dough is too dry, add more milk. If it’s too wet, aff more flour. It should be soft and malleable.

  5. Remove the dough from the bowl onto a dry surface to kneed. Use a rolling pin to roll and kneed about 10-15 times.

  6. Use a round cutter or cut into squares.

  7. Add the dough to a butter baking sheet or cast iron.

  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

  9. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and add honey. Pour over the biscuits.
