What you need:
Pasta Rigatoni $.99
Portabello Mushrooms $3.49
White Button Mushrooms $2.49
Tomato Paste $.99
Tuscan Kale $2.99
Parsley $1.99
Total = $9.95
From previous purchases: Cream Cheese, Onion, Chicken Broth
Seasonings: Creole Seasoning, Trader Joe’s Mushroom Seasoning, Salt and pepper, Parmesan
Instructions:
Slice onion and mushrooms.
Cook onions with olive oil and salt and pepper until caramelized.
Add mushrooms.
Season with creole seasoning, salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add a tablespoon of tomato paste and cream cheese.
Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
Add a cup of broth.
Cook until the sauce thickens.
Salt a pot of water and bring to a boil.
Turn the fire down and add pasta.
When pasta is al-dente, transfer it from the pot to the mushroom sauce.
Cook for 5-10 minutes
Garnish with parsley.
