Braised Turnips & Carrots

Ingredients

What you need:

Veggies served with grilled, cod, shrimp & asparagus

  • Broth

  • Turnips

  • Carrots

  • Smoked Salt

  • Olive Oil

  • Optional: Herbs of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Cut the turnips and carrots.

  2. Bring a pot of broth to a boil.

  3. Turn the heat down and add the turnips. Cook for 12-15 minutes.

  4. Remove the turnips and add the carrots. Cook for 10-12 minutes.

  5. Add both turnips and carrots to a large bowl. Add olive oil and season to taste. I used smoked salt from My Fork in the Road.
