Candied Almonds

Ingredients

What you need:

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 tsp Vanilla

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp Butter

  • Cayenne (optional)

  • Water

  • Baking Sheet lined with parent paper

Instructions:

  1. In a non-stick pan, add water, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, Bourbon, and cayenne.

  2. Cook until the liquid is thick and bubbly.

  3. Add almonds. Cook on low for 5 minutes.

  4. Spray the parent paper with cooking spray.

  5. Slowly pour almonds onto the baking sheet.

  6. Sprinkle a little more brown sugar.

  7. Let cool for 30 minutes.
