Beer Butter Steamed Clams

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Fresh Clams

  • Beer (Pale Ale or Lager)

  • Butter

  • Garlic

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, melt butter and garlic.

  2. Add water and beer.

  3. Add clams to the pot.

  4. Cook for about 15 minutes.

  5. The clams are done once the shells have opened.

  6. Serve hot and pour the clam broth over the clams. Garnish with herbs.

  7. Be sure to save the broth to use for a sauce!
