Seared Duck Breast

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Duck Breast with skin

  • Potatoes

  • Seasonings: Salt

  • Cast Iron Pan

Instructions:

  1. Cut slits in the duck breast skin. Salt both sides of the breast.

  2. Heat the cast-iron pan and place the duck breast in the pan, skin side down.

  3. Sear the duck breast on both sides. 5-8 minutes per side.

  4. Let rest for at least 15 minutes.

  5. In that same cast iron, there should be a good amount of duck fat. Add cubed potatoes to the pan. Salt and cook until golden brown.

  6. Slice and serve with your favorite vegetable.
