Seared Duck Breast
Ingredients
What you need:
Duck Breast with skin
Potatoes
Seasonings: Salt
Cast Iron Pan
Instructions:
Cut slits in the duck breast skin. Salt both sides of the breast.
Heat the cast-iron pan and place the duck breast in the pan, skin side down.
Sear the duck breast on both sides. 5-8 minutes per side.
Let rest for at least 15 minutes.
In that same cast iron, there should be a good amount of duck fat. Add cubed potatoes to the pan. Salt and cook until golden brown.
Slice and serve with your favorite vegetable.
