Mushrooms & Dumplings

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Mushrooms: Shitake, Portobello, and Oyster

  • Broth

  • Flour

  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder

  • 3 tablespoons of cubed butter

  • 1 cup Milk

  • Seasonings: Salt

Instructions:

  1. Slice mushrooms and add half to a pot with olive oil and chopped onions.

  2. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes.

  3. Add about 1/2 cup flour and stir.

  4. Add broth. Cook until thick.

  5. Add the remaining mushrooms.

  6. Dumpling Batter: In a large bowl, add flour, salt, baking powder, and milk. Mix well. The texture should be sticky and thick.

  7. Spoon a tablespoon of the dumpling batter into the mushroom broth.

  8. Cook for 20 minutes.
