Mushrooms & Dumplings
Ingredients
What you need:
Mushrooms: Shitake, Portobello, and Oyster
Broth
Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
3 tablespoons of cubed butter
1 cup Milk
Seasonings: Salt
Instructions:
Slice mushrooms and add half to a pot with olive oil and chopped onions.
Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes.
Add about 1/2 cup flour and stir.
Add broth. Cook until thick.
Add the remaining mushrooms.
Dumpling Batter: In a large bowl, add flour, salt, baking powder, and milk. Mix well. The texture should be sticky and thick.
Spoon a tablespoon of the dumpling batter into the mushroom broth.
Cook for 20 minutes.
