FGT Sammy

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Green Tomatoes

  • Cornmeal

  • Flour

  • Parmesan Cheese

  • 2 eggs

  • Kale

  • Seasonings: Salt, Cayenne

Instructions:

  1. Slice the green tomato.

  2. Add vegetable oil to a frying pan.

  3. Set up a dredging station:

    1. Flour

    2. Egg (beaten with a little salt and hot sauce)

    3. Cornmeal and parmesan

  4. Dip the tomato slices in each section.

  5. Fry the slices until golden brown. 2-3 minutes.

  6. Season fried green tomatoes with salt and cayenne.

  7. Fry 1 egg at your desired style.

  8. Sauté a few large pieces of kale.

  9. Add kale, fried green tomato, and egg to a toasted bun.
