Feta Fried Green Tomatoes
Ingredients
What you need:
Green Tomatoes
Cornmeal
Flour
Feta Cheese
Buttermilk
Seasonings: Salt, Cayenne
Instructions:
Slice the green tomatoes.
Cut a whole in the middle of the tomatoes and stuff the whole with feta cheese.
Add vegetable oil to a frying pan.
Set up a dredging station:
Flour
Buttermilk
Cornmeal
Dip the tomato slices in each section.
Fry the slices until golden brown. 2-3 minutes.
Season fried green tomatoes with salt and cayenne.
