Feta Fried Green Tomatoes

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Green Tomatoes

  • Cornmeal

  • Flour

  • Feta Cheese

  • Buttermilk

  • Seasonings: Salt, Cayenne

Instructions:

  1. Slice the green tomatoes.

  2. Cut a whole in the middle of the tomatoes and stuff the whole with feta cheese.

  3. Add vegetable oil to a frying pan.

  4. Set up a dredging station:

    1. Flour

    2. Buttermilk

    3. Cornmeal

  5. Dip the tomato slices in each section.

  6. Fry the slices until golden brown. 2-3 minutes.

  7. Season fried green tomatoes with salt and cayenne.
