Sweet Potato Grits
Ingredients
What you need:
Grits (any kind)
1 Sweet Potato
Broth
Butter
Cream or milk
Seasonings: Salt & pepper
Instructions:
Bake the sweet potato for 1 hour at 400 or air fry for 40 minutes
In a pot, add 3 cups of broth and 1/2 cup of cream.
Bring to a simmer.
Whisk in grits.
Add butter and salt.
Remove the skin from the sweet potato. Use an immersion blender to remove lumps.
Whisk in the sweet potato into the grits.
Add more butter and broth if needed.
Serve with your favorite veggie. I seared broccolini.
