Beer Chicken & Chenin Sec

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Whole Chicken

  • 1 can of beer. I suggest a lager, pilsner or soft IPA.

  • Butter

  • Seasoning: Salt

  • Instructions:

  1. Heat the grill or oven at 250 degrees.

  2. Clean your chicken.

  3. Add butter under the skin. Add extra butter to the skin over the breasts.

  4. Season with salt and let sit to dry.

  5. Open one can of beer. Pour 1/4th of the beer in a bowl with butter.

  6. Carefully place the chicken on the can of beer, inside the chicken cavity.

  7. Grill the chicken for about 3 hours at 250.

  8. Let cool for 30 minutes

  9. Remove the can and serve.
