$15 Wine & Dine: Chicken & Chard

Ingredients

What you need:

  • Chicken Leg Quarters $6

  • Rotini Pasta $.98

  • Fresh Broccoli $1.33

  • Rosemary $1.79

  • Seasonings: Italian Seasoning, Garlic, Parmesan.

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the chicken quarters in olive oil, salt, garlic, and rosemary for at least 5 hours.

  2. Bake or grill the chicken in a cast iron pan at 250 for about 2 hours.

  3. When the chicken is done, remove it from the cast iron and add fresh broccoli. Cook for 10 minutes.

  4. Boil the rotini pasta until al dente. Do not rinse. Add the pasta to a bowl of olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and toss.
